Wen to this place Friday night for dinner while visiting a friend. This was my first time in VT and my initial thought was that it was a pretty cool state. Burlington is a fun little town and the people are all friendly. I will be going back this summer to camp and to check out Magic Hat (which was shut down for the month for upgrades).

The bar area here was crowded (and always is from what I hear). They have about 10 taps and 2 cask ales at a time. The bottle list is extensive and has great thing on it like Saison DuPont, Orval, Dogfish Head (quite a few), Jolly Pumpkin, Unibroue, Samual Smiths, Ayinger, Stone, etc. I had two of their own beers, Dwayne's Dunkel and thought it was pretty good. I also had a cask IPA called Captain Ron that was well balanced.

The menu was simple, yet it had something for everyone. One of my guests was vegan and it was simple for her to find exactly what she wanted off of the extremely descriptive menu full of organic, locally supplied menu items. All of the food is cooked in a huge clay hearth in the back corner. I had a sausage, onion, swiss, and herb flatbread and it was awesome.

The service was friendly, quick, and painless and it wasn't too expensive (especially for being right in the heart of "downtown".

I would definietly go back.

This is a nice place with a warm and inviting vibe. There is a nice brick oven pizza display in the center of the main room and a nice bar in the other. A great place for both singles and families. They have good pizza. As for the brews, it is a brewpub which exclusively features the beers brewed by Zero Gravity. I only had one beer, Black Cat Porter, but it was good. The pizza was also nice. I would go back for both the pizza and for the opportunity to try more Zero Gravity brews.

Went here on Sunday during our trip to Burlington. Wanted to sit outside but it was a bit busy so we sat at the bar. Got great service there (two bartenders to check on us) and grabbed some pies and beers. The flatbreads were awesome, really reminded us of the thin crust pizza we get back home. Probably the best pie in VT. Beers were all tasty, fresh, and from the Zero Gravity brewery (but brewed on-site). Had a few of those and was feeling pretty good for a walk by Lake Champlain!

This is a good place to grab an affordable meal with some better than average beer. I think Cone Head has grown in quality and it is now one of my summer drinking favorites, I love that it is now available in cans. The food selection (flat bread yuppy pizza and fresh salads) is made with mostly local and all high quality ingredients. The vibe is casual and sort of hipster. Beer selection usually has a wide variety of styles.

We stopped in on the Saturday of the Vermont Brewers Festival.
Our server and the bar staff were composed, and delightful under the crush of humanity.
The food was wonderful started with simple salad, then special pie. Both wonderful.
The tap list was quite nice, Berliner-IIPA. A cask engine provided the joy for me.
A 1 year old English Old Ale on cask was simply outstanding.
A wonderful place.
