The only IPA on the menu at the time I was there, poured into a standard pint glass a slight hazed peach color with a nice looking 1/2 finger white head that had good lasting power.A mix of citric, floral hops and lightly sweet caramel biscuit malt nicley balanced with the malt not interfering with the nice hop profile.A standard American style IPA wich I adore on the palate a deep grapefruit rind shot hits you upfront with a bit of pine resin with a caramelly sweet malt base thru out and into a nice finish.A very solid IPA no frills if your a hophead you will enjoy this and you will be able to enjoy a few of them.

Growler i had filled at the brewery on a trip on 10/18 cracked it open a few hours later had a couple of nonic glasses with a few friends who like this beer.

Mirky opaque orange reddis hue with a 1" creamy bone white head with decent retention leaving a lasting creamy ring down the glass with a few small lace curtians and spots of lace.

A predominate hop aroma lots of pine and very minty with herbal notes in the background turning to some perfumyness as it warms

Light clean sweet malty taste,grainy/bisquity light maltiness with lots of tangy notes. Very complex hop taste with all the tastes as described in the aroma present at diffent intervals finishing with citrus rind.Lots of earthyness with a weak malty backbone has crisp hoppiness throughout. On the lighter side as an ipa goes making it very drinkable.clean and refreshing. A hop lovers brew. One the the best beers i tried at the brewery.

The first beer I had at North Country, though there will hopefully be many more. Poured into a pint glass.

Appearance: A golden hazy yellow with a fat head that seemed to stick around and gobs of lacing also sticking around.

Smell: Lemon up front, some toned-down oily hops in the back. Some yeast and slight malt. Almost more like a Witbier, but I think because it wasn't infused with hops like most IPAs I've had lately. Still pleasant for sure.

Taste: The aromas go on to represent the taste quite well. Lemon and citrus right away, to bitter hops (which I think is due to the fact of the beer being slightly unbalanced, though it ended up doing something interesting for the beer), to a lingering bitter hop finish and slight malty finish to balance it all out.

Mouthfeel: Pretty creamy and impressive, as I thought it was going to be light for some reason, but it'd definitely medium-bodied and warranted.

Drinkability: I could see myself drinking a few more of these upon my next visit. I had a sip of two other beers, and this was by far the best, and a fine representation of the style as an IPA.

S: a light herbal smell

T:  some fleeting grapefruit disappears quickly floral a little resin malty sweetness ends with mostly sweet breast taste

M: medium bodied has a slight linger on the tongue

O: Average just on this side of an English style ipa nothing exciting I'd pass if you see it

12 oz can poured into a tulip. From my latest shipment of beer of the every other month club.

A - pretty good. Nice orange body with creamy head.

N - nice citrusy hop scent. Not Much else.

T - not bad. Basic hops and malts profile.

M - medium carbonation, decent bitterness on the aftertaste.

O - certainly not the best Ipa ever, but it was a fine enough beer.

Enjoyed from the can in a pint glass. This VERY nice IPA pours a lightly hazy golden color with shades of amber in the mix. Nice white head of foam that diminishes into a thin white layer, thin ring, and fantastic lacing. Nose of sweet caramel malts, floral hops, and some light fruity esters or citrus. Flavors surpass the nose with aplomb as the sweet malts to the front give way to a moderate grapefruit note that fades to a nice floral and bittering hop heads delight that mix with fresh biscuit malt notes. Excellent mouth feel, crisp and smooth at the same time with a bitter aftertaste. A new favorite.
