22oz bottle poured into a pint glass... I missed its best by 1/16/16
A: Orange/brown color with a one-finger head
S: Lots of malt particularly red (I know it's hard to associate a color with a flavor but it's here); caramel and a hint of lemon/pine hops
T: Bread/malt, some banana and baking spice
M: Medium-bodied, a touch sweet
O: I should have tried it fresher. Not bad but nothing exciting

L: Pours a caramel color with a decent head that quickly recedes.

S: Smells OK. Kind of like banana bread for some reason.

T: Taste also has a light banana bread to it. Drinkable. Not bad, not great. A bit sweet.

F: Feel is decent with brisk carbonation but a dry finish.

Overall not a bad beer by any means but nothing I would seek out again. A solid B.

This is unique interesting and well done. The level of hops, spiciness and alcohol is well balanced. light bodied, lightly hopped with ginger ale flavors. Had it in a wine glass with chinese food. Good stuff.

Purchased locally, price forgotten. Poured into willy glass. The appearance is the best part of this beer. It's a very pretty, perfectly clear, reddish-copper color with a tall, off-white head that slowly retreats leaving gorgeous lace. Smell is slightly citrusy, malty and with just a hint of the herbs. Taste is at first sweet malt followed by slight citrus hops and followed up with a lasting, but not overwhelming, dose of herbs and finishing with the signature Harpoon flavor present in every one of their beers I've tried. Mouth is very good. Overall, an interesting twist on an amber.
