Gold with a thin head and clingy lace.

Lots of mango and nothing else on nose.

Sweet mango and crisp, crackery malt in taste. Some smooth bubblegum flavors pop up here and there.

Is it artificial tasting? Sometimes it seems that way, other times no. At least they say it's natural, but it's a bit too dainty for me.

2.93/5: Enjoyable enough in a vacuum, but tastes like mango juice with a splash of pale ale (instead of the other way around)

Bottle BB 8-15-16. DFH tulip.

A: pours a pale brassy copper with 1.5 fingers white head. Retains a pretty decent skim across the top. A few lazy bubbles percolate up, but little carb.

S: mango. A little oniony hop. Some malt, but mango is really the deal here.

T: fruity arrival, naturally, followed by some excellent bready malt and then this saccharine unpleasantness. The finish is just awful to me. Kept going back each sip, thinking it would get better, but it didn't.

M: solidly mid-weight with lots of carbonation. Slightly slick.

O: I love pale ales, and this was an interesting experiment. Needless to say, I will not be buying this again. In fact, I'm not sure I'll be finishing this one.

A copper-colored beer with a small white head.
Tropical fruit and sweet malt aroma. Faint.
Heavy dose of mango in the taste. Not great and it left a bad aftertaste in my mouth.
It is a summer beer, but that doesn't make it a good beer.

Had a weird pine/menthol taste. Drinkable but barely.

L: Mango starts the aroma supported by biscuit, nuts and fruit

S: the hop aromas and the mango work at cross purposes and the beer smells a little oxidized

T: The flavors start lightly sweet with come mango especially in the middle and it finishes moderately dry. There is a low level of scrambled egg on the flavor along with a vegetable note and a little wet cardboard.

F: The body is medium light and the carbonation is medium.

O: This beer is unlikable and clearly past its prime but even at 6 months or so, it should be drinkable.
