Look...Hazy light brown with some haze as to be expected in an unfiltered ale(duh). White head dissipating quickly.
Smell...Coffee aroma and the sweet smell of wheat, sugar, vanilla in a very big dose.
Taste...Well...It's not bad just not a combination i personally like in a Hefeweizen. The vanilla and sweetness are not offset enough for me. Sweet vanilla and coffee combined eh
Feel... Thin feel with little carbonation leaving a sweeter finish as the temperature of the beer go up. Not terrible eh
Overall...Glad this was a rental. A style that does not need to be made again. Cannot understand the high marks

Cloudy amber body with a large white head and light lacing. Aroma of cookie dough, vanilla extract coffee grounds. Taste is not much better; sweet malts yielding to flavors of banana, coconut and vanilla. Coffee shows up modestly in the aftertaste but doesn't add much oomph. Just kinda dull, lacking body and depth.

Well it's surely not the best coffee blonde ale I ever had but its probably one of the best UFO beers I have had of of late! Smooth vanilla some good coffee bitterness not too aggressive blonde ale no grainy hop flavors very easy to drink. Not sure of all the haters this is a very well crafted brew I would gladly revisit!

L: Little hazy, golden color.
S: Lots going on in the aroma. Banana. Vanilla. Malt. Very good.
T: This is so tasty! I will say I was expecting "coffee bean" coffee flavor, but I see that they list "vanilla cold brew" as the thing they used in the brew. I, personally, would have preferred the use of coffee beans to give a bit stronger of a coffee flavor. As it stands, I get alot of banana and vanilla, which are great together. Just no coffee. Good stuff though.
F: light and refreshing.
Overall: I really like it for the banana/vanilla vibes alone. Give me some coffee in there and this'd be a 5. Good beer though.

My final beer from Harpoon's UFO winter pack and it's resoundingly decent. It pours a cloudy golden brown with a small white head that doesn't linger. The aroma is of mild coffee with a yeast funk and maybe some banana. It tastes as advertised: coffee and vanilla at the forefront atop wheat. There is some sort of minor sourness of which I cannot identify the source. Medium carbonation and a crisp finish are a welcome feature. It doesn't feel like a "winter" beer per se, but it doesn't need to be in order to be a resoundingly decent beer.

Tastes like a nasty light beer with fake coffee hint. Awful. Why did I get a 12pack? Why? Why?

This is a bigger disappointment than your methhead cousin. This barely tastes like beer, it has a fake coffee sweetener aftertaste that’s legitimately gross. I wish I could get a refund on the whole sixpack but I don’t think that’s going to happen. This tasted like it was worth maybe $3.99 for the sixpack, and that had the AUDACITY to call this a premium winter blonde. I can’t speak to their other beers, but I’ll never buy another UFO, and neither should you.

Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a slightly hazy golden/orange color with a 1 inch head, Smell is of oranges, bananas. Taste is oranges, coffee, light wheat, flavors not meshing well together. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a bit unusual for the style, and a mediocre beer.

From the can, it pours a slightly hazy yellow golden color with a large white head that slowly reduces as you watch. In the nose, it is possibly a bit of vanilla and a touch of coffee. In the mouth, it is a bit tart, with some vanilla peeking through.
