Golden color and very clear. Good starting head which settles to rim bubbles. Some spots and streaks for lace.

Earthy and mildly sour smell. Slight graininess.

Rich and strongly alcoholic. There's a residual sweetness that is common with this style. Lots of alcohol on the tongue. Warming. I get coriander and pale malts. Very rich body as expected with a good carbonation level.

Primary fermentation with Belgian golden ale yeast, 80% Belgian Pilsner malt, 5% Bonlader Munich malt, and 15% light Belgian candi sugar. Lightly hopped with Tettnang hops. Fermented dry, then secondary fermentation with Abbey Ale yeast.

Poured out slightly murky with a light golden color. Good carbonation feeds a thick off white head and decent lacing. Has a sharp medicinal smell, alcohol, spice, and some faint hops. The taste hits you with alcohol right away, spicyness and maybe some dry honey. Its almost light bodied due to so much carbonation. The carbonation hits hard and aggressive.
