Looks like a saison. Smells like a lackluster saison. Tastes like a bad saison. Mouthfeel is kinda harsh and raw.

Taste is pepper, alcohol, and bittering hop. Tiny bit of peach maybe, and some herbal stuff in the finish. Corriander stands out a bit too much simply because its the main discernable flavor on a background of bleh. Mostly flavorless and muddy, not much to enjoy. This beer has no identity. It's a mess. It tries to do too much, goes in too many different directions, and ends up doing nothing.

I did not enjoy this offering from Harpoon. I've had many good saisons over the years, including my own homebrew on tap currently, and this just doesn't match up. I mean, its not entirely terrible, but I'd rather not have wasted my time on it and won't be getting it again.

22oz glass served in pint glass. I get a big skunk lagery aroma out of this, surprisingly. Beer itself is straw yellow in color, with substantial haze and big soda bubbles. Giant white head. And yeah, pilsner/lager aroma.

Flavor is spicy, dry, and crisp. Very neutral through the finish. The peppercorn flavor up front brings out some bitterness in the hops -- at 34 IBU the hops are definitely not showcased here. Besides the spiciness there's a subtler note of yeast, to give it some earthiness. The mouthfeel is pretty thin. It kinda looks and feels like ginger ale. And the carbonation brings an intensity to the drink that's completely absent in the flavor (again, like a lager). All in all it makes for an interesting experience but it's not my favorite.

AROMA-Some yeast. Citrus.
LOOK: Gold color, cloudy. Not pretty.
TASTE: apples, pears,Refreshing taste, though some greatness in finish.
FEEL: Excellent carbonation. Took a while to get into this, but luckily it was 22 ouncer.
