Slightly hazy golden colour with a big foamy white head. Some lacing.

Biscuity malt notes with some citrusy eater. Touches of clove. Not bad.

Moderately malt with a light bitterness and some earthy character. Soft fruitiness with some hard fruit, stone fruit and almost mustiness.

Moderate body with moderately high carbonation.

A solid Tripel. A little too malty but can complain.

Drank from my Ciney sniffer

A - Pours a clear Golden colour with a white head that reduces quickly

S - Nice esters of yeast and malt.

T - Has a reasonably Belgian flavour, lacks the spiciness and punch of a good tripel. The residual sweetness is also a problem, despite this it is well rounded.

M - Light to medium body with medium carbonation. Perhaps a little over carbonated.

O - I applaud breweries for trying these Belgian styles. However In a blind tasting I would easily pick out the genuine Belgian tripel from the foreign attempt. This is no different. Having said that, this is a brew that is well worth a try.
