An industry pint at the Oliver location.

This beer appears a clear, glassy medium bronzed amber colour, with one finger of loosely foamy, bubbly off-white head, which leaves a decent array of stringy blobbed lace (Amazon logo) around the glass as things sink away.

It smells of weak caramel malt, faintly acidic apple and pear, a touch of orange cream, and leafy, floral hop. The taste is moderately biscuity bready caramel malt, soft orange rind, leafy forest floor detritus, a hint of white pepper, and earthy, somewhat musty hops.

The bubbles are quite laid back, but still active enough, the body medium-light in weight, and teeteringly smooth. It finishes just off-dry, the fruit outwitting the malt for this particular welterweight title.

Very much a watered down English bitter, yet one retaining an adequate amount of overall character, though I myself wish that hops were part of that. 'Session ale', sure, but you might be tilting one way anyways, as the understated sweetness eventually builds.
