On-tap at Coors Field, Denver, CO

A: The beer is hazy dark amber in color. It poured with a large patch of white bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of toasted malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and is mostly malty with flavors of toasted and pale malts.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is quite malty but still remains rather drinkable.

Serving type: on-tap

L: Clear bright Amber orange color with a medium creamy head and no lacing.

S: Toasted bread, caramel malt, a slight floral hop. Pretty boring red.

T: Toasted bread caramel malt, small hop bitterness. Nothing special from a red.

F: Medium body and creamy carbonation.

O: A pretty average boring red ale.

On tap at Coors Field, I was hoping to try a couple Sandlot beers and I did. Dark amber red, short head, served in a plastic cup (eww). Smells a little malty, eh not bad but not great. Taste was decent but just seemed like a boring amber to me, a little malt, no hops, average. This was a good choice compared to the macros available but I'd never buy this from a store or if I was at a good beer bar.

Draught at Coors field. Poured not too cold -- that was nice.

Small head that stays pretty well over a medium amber body. Nice enough looking beer.

Smell is mostly nutty -- pecan, walnut -- and cracker malt. Some floral hops also. Not much here.

Taste was pretty decent cracker malt, toasted malt and floral hops. Walnutty background.

Mouthfeel is pretty smooth and round, nice and full. Best part of this beer.

Drinkability is pretty good. Not a very complex beer, but for what it is, it's above average.

Draft at Coors Field. Amber color with thin off-white head and good lacing. I couldn’t detect much aroma, and the flavor was slightly nutty at first. By mid-glass, flavor became stronger, and had hints of malty caramel. Had a decent finish. Had a relatively thin body, but still not a bad beer to enjoy at the ballpark.

It's essentially a slightly beefed up Killian's Irish Red. In fact, it wouldn't shock me if it's just the original old-school "George Killians" recipe repackaged.
At first I thought it was just a renamed Killians, so I asked for a sample of both and noted that this brew had a little more bite and substance...but was slightly less sweet.
Not a bad beer, but considering how great the ESB is, and some of the more couragious brews they've produced at the Sandlot before, this one should be avoided unless you're a fan of the style or if you really like Killian's.

Pours a medium red, well carbonated and topped with a one finger creamy ivory head.
Nice caramel aroma, slight hop bite - pine, mild fruitiness.
Caramel with piney hop taste, flower stems and fruit.
Medium bodied, an acceptable red, nothing too special.
