I had this during an event at the Sandlot coinciding with the GABF. This beer poured a light straw color with a bit of mass-produced-looking head atop it (medium-small bubbles, all identically sized). Aroma was light and a bit citrus-y. Taste was a metallic copper taste that I frequently associate with Kolsch-style beers. There was also some degree of the lingering maltiness that I associate with Dortmunders like Great Lakes and DAB which made this beer taste true to what I perceive the style to be. Mouthfeel was unremarkable. A pretty average beer far inferior to both Great Lakes Dortmunder Gold or a fresh DAB.

On tap at the Rackhouse Pub in Denver, they always have at least one beer that i have never tasted. I will start by saying that I drink far more ales than lagers and am no expert on dortmunder exports (or any beer for that matter). Nice yellow color, decent lace, smells like a pilsner (kind of). The taste was a little earthy, crisp, really, really easy to drink. I really need to start studying lagers as this was enjoyable but much harder to describe than an ale usually is.

Had this one on tap today at the Rackhouse in Denver. Poured from the tap into a New Belgium tulip. Medium to dark golden, with a smallish white head. Aromas of sweet malt, grains, cereal. On the palate, crisp, clean and refreshing. A nice beer for a mid-afternoon college football game.
