A: The beer is hazy yellow in color and is quite carbonated—it poured with a massive two finger high off white head that gradually dissipated and resembled craters of the moon in the process. It has
S: Light to moderate aromas of limes are present in the nose along with notes of yeast.
T: The taste has an interesting blend of flavors of limes and spices along with hints of squash.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This is a very unique saison that has an interesting combination of limes and squash. It packed in a ton of flavor for a 4.2% abv beer.

Poured from 750 mL bottle into tulip. Batch 184, 191. Bottled 9/6/13.
A: Pours a hazed lemon hue with very active carbonation jets producing a super massive 5-6 inch white meringue head. Retention is ridiculous (forever)...honestly too long in my opinion. Thick lacing follows once this finally settles down...thickest I've ever seen.
S: Sweet citrus and lime, melon, soft spice (cinnamon and white pepper), a hint of earthy minerals, and a middle of the road brett note (present, but not too overpowering or funky). Quite nice!
T: Sweet citrus, lime, pumpkin (there it is!), cinnamon, white pepper, peachy melon, and a soft backbone of subdued brett. A delicate taste.
M: Light body. Moderately effervescent. Mildly sour/tart. Delicately sweet and dry. Turns even more dry in the finish (mildly bitter here too).
D: An amazingly complex and solid beer for the ABV. The definition of enjoyable drinkability. A quality session beer.

750mL bottle poured into a snifter
(A)- Pours a hazed golden yellow color. Some minimal froth
(S)- A great dryness to it. Bits of citrus rind (lemon & lime). Bits of oak at the end. Slightly funky
(T)- A touch of brine but flowing with oaky lime citrus rind. Very dry
(M)- A good carbonation level. The dry lime citrus on this is quite nice, but a touch of olive brine on the finish
(O)- An interesting take on a saison. LOTS of acidity from the citrus
