Blend 3. Bottled 1/22/15; drank 2/18/22 @ the Yarchives.
At first, a see-through orange rust appearance; as I poured more of the bottle, it got quite cloudy.
An even pour yielded a small khaki head; decent lace.
Tart peach & sour lemon notes in the nose.
Medium thin mouthfeel.
Tart peach & sour lemon flavors up front; mild malt vinegar notes on the finish, which were oddly pleasant.
For a 7 year old beer, this held up well, but was a bit too sour/abrasive for this sensitive soul. Still, worth a quaff.

750ml bottle into snifter. Blend 3 bottled 1/22/15.
A: Deep ruddy amber with thin off white head faded into a greasy collar. Network of soapy lace was left down the glass.
S: Super musty nose full of Flanders red notes of damp basement and vinegar. Red fruit notes and sweet cherry present.
T: Flavor is full of greasy oak, musty woody and basement, apple cider vinegar, and tannic cherry pits and skins. Caramel in the finish, sweet red fruit/berry juice in the finish and aftertaste finish on a sweet note. Touch of red grape.
M: Medium-full body, lightly tart acidic bite, lightly tannic but equally as juicy. Greasy slick mouthfeel.
O: Complex and flavorful but well-integrated and easy to drink. Acidity isn't harsh at all.

A - Pours a lightly hazed amber with a two finger fizzy off white head. The head fades fast leaving a decent amount of soapy lacing.
S - Aroma is sweet and tart cherries, green apple, oak and leather.
T - The taste follows the aroma. Sweet and tart cherries, green apple, plums, red wine vinegar, leather and oak.
M - Medium body with medium carbonation. Soft mouthfeel with crisp dry finish.
O - A solid Flannders red. The cherries add a nice blend of tart and sweet. A very nice representation of the style.
