Notes:
This delicious farmhouse ale is named for our Jack Russell, who struck by a car, bounced back in fine tenacious Jack Russell fashion, and is brewed for those of us who knocked down, have picked up, dusted off and carried on undaunted. Golden, naturally cloudy, bottle conditioned and dry hopped for a perfectly refreshing balance of spicy malts, hops and yeast. Please enjoy our beers in good health, And look both ways when crossing the street!

On tap. Nice golden body and soft sudsy head. Smell is light, sweet, and spicy; fruity pine, coriander, orange blossom, and a touch of funk. Taste is more tart and citrusy than the nose lets on. Initially sweet and acidic, with tangerine and grapefruit and funk, then a bit of salt and floral hops, and finishing with lemon peel and cucumber. Feel is quite soft, finish is wet. Not the best example of the style, but damn if it isn’t a good spring afternoon beer.

Maybe I have poor taste, as others seem to enjoy this beer, but it just didn’t do it for me.
Smells fantastic, lemon, apple, light biscuit.
The taste is too overwhelming of tart green apple, like apple cider vinegar tart. Also leaves a sour aftertaste which is unpleasant.
The redeeming factor for me is that its refreshing enough for me to somewhat enjoy.

Cloudy, golden/amber appearance with a large, dense head and nice lacing. Aroma is yeasty, musty, tart fruit, earthy; just a really good mix that shows appreciable depth. Flavors meld attractively, from the spicy, fruity, mildly sour to the dry, hoppy, vinous, woodsy nuances. Subtle, complex, intriguing, thoroughly enjoyable.

Tart and refreshing. Apples are the main flavor. A little bit of yeast. No alcohol flavor at all. Reminds me of champagne. I'm not usually a fan of sour beer but I keep going back to this one.

In great saison fashion, this one looks great in the glass.
Funky, spicy, yeasty, tart and dank all have appearances in the aroma and taste of this one.
I've always liked saisons and this one adds to that data set.

Pours a medium golden color, minimal head. Funky, soapy aroma. Flavor is citrusy, funky, and tart/sour, which I was not expecting. Good carbonation, tangy with nice light acidity. Overall a good farmhouse sour?

Decanted from a 16 oz (473 ml) can into a Captain Lawrence muffin top pint; no production information.
A: Pours a slight hazy to hazy (changes during the pour), bright golden color with solid two finger, foamy, lemon chiffon head, excellent (half finger) retention, and sticky but spotty lacing.
S: Light bouquet of cloves and banana initially, with hay and white pepper notes emergent. Definitely a whiff of lemon citrus, if not zest.
T: Dry, dry, dry. Pleasant tastes of lemon/lemongrass and lime blend with a spicy notes of coriander, dry basil, and white pepper. Solid peppery bitterness leaving an extremely clean finish.
M: Light bodied; persistent, champagne-bubble effervescence.
O: Complex, subtle, and very balanced. Guessing this has Sorachi Ace hops, but just a guess. A small beer by US standards (ABV 4.5%), I could sit outside and drink this all day. Bam Bière is a really nicely executed Saison.

This can caught my wife's eye because the coloring looked just like our foster pup.
A&S: Hazy orange-yellow. Thin white head. mild carbonation profile. The aroma consists of tart white grapes, lemon citrus, funky yeast, black tea.
T&M: Taste includes dry and tart, acidic, and citrus. Mouthfeel has higher carbonation, relatively smooth, but kinda watery. Very drinkable.
Overall: I thought this beer was fantastic would highly recommend it.

L: Pours with a tall white head. Very light and slightly hazy. Not very inviting for me.
S: Smells more funky than I expected. Citrus, banana, clove, apple skin, and slight malt.
T: Very sour at first, almost unbearable. Very enjoyable after i got used to it later on.
F: Lightly carbonated. Crisp.
O: After I got used to the sour/funk I really began to enjoy it. Great for a hot day at the pool.

Big, frothy white head, slightly uneven. Good retention, and very nice lacing. Beer is almost transparent, with just the slightest amount of haze.
Sharp aroma, with vinegar-like sharpness, mustiness, citrus, honey, straw, and oak. A lovely sour-forward saison on the nose.
Similar presentation on the palate, although the sourness is much more restrained, with the emphasis clearly on funky yeast and dull oak. It's a really tasty, complex brew, a touch watery on the palate - not unexpected for the low ABV.

From the bottle it pours a cloudy brassy golden color. A modest head quickly dissipates.
The nose opens with a touch of rustic funk. This is followed by fruity and citrusy aromas of tart lemon and lime, orange, kiwi and peach. Later on a pleasant aroma of fresh cut flowers develops.
Medium to light bodied, lively carbonated and with a nearly acidic vinous mouthfeel. The palate is dry with tart notes of fruit and cider and vinegar like flavors. Notes of white grape, green apples, peach, peach, kiwi, lemon, lime and peppery phenols. The finish is bone dry.
Overall this was a solidly made tart Saison that had some refreshing properties and went well with my meal. However, for the nearly $7 price tag for a 12oz bottle, it was a tad underwhelming.
