Poured from a bomber into a snifter. A cloudy pinkish gold color with a large head and great lacing. The smell is a bit vinaigrette-ish. The taste is tart, fruity, and refreshing. A nice summer beer!

Look is reddish/copper with thin head that dissipates to a ring that leaves a nice lace.

Smell is tart cherries, and that dominates the taste as well. It's not overly sour, and would probably be a good entry point for someone trying sours for the first time.

Feel is pretty full bodied for a saison. Oily feel that had a long finish that turns fairly sweet once the tartness has settled on your palate.

Overall, a tasty beer from JP that is not terribly complex, but enjoyable.

Smell is tart, cherry, some general barnyard funk, and a floral aroma. Taste is Belgian yeast, pepperiness, sour fruit, vegetal notes (kind of like V8), hints of watermelon, red wine, and some light tartness. There's a lot going on in this beer but all of the flavor notes blend together nicely.

750ml bottle, served in a snifter glass.

Pours a medium lighter brown body, one finger white head, good retention. Not much lacing. Smells of bready malt, tart lemon, a bit of leather, cereal grain, moderately floral. That's a nice saison, on the sweeter side. Flavour is is bread, cereal, lemon, leather, floral notes, minerals, mild tartness. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, good carbonation, substantial with good depth to it. Overall, a very solid farmhouse ale with the archetypical flavours, on the sweeter side closer to DuPont rather than Side Project.

A pop of cherry flavor. A little too soda poppy to be a great beer.

Large shared bottle.

Too funky (both aroma and flavor) for my taste, and with too much vinegar in the aroma. Lightly tart flavor.

Feel: Lively carbonation.
