My bro in law brought a jug of this to TG. It poured a clear copper with white head that is not leaving any lace . The scent had hints of pumpkin and spice. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink. There was pumpkin and spice but not overpowering. The Mouthfeel is lighter in body with smooth carbonation. Overall it's ok.

This is another beer where, after having had it, my mind is boggled by some of the low scores on this site. Overall this thing looks great, with a light brown to orange complexion and feels smooth and light on the palate. Its pumpkin flavor is very subtle, so if you are seeking a strong pumpkin taste, you might look elsewhere. However, what might seem underwhelming in pumpkin is made up for with a fine light blend of autumn spices. Definitely one of the lighter pumpkin beers, which means you'll be happy to drink more than one.

This will probably be the only Saranac beer I bother to rate, I've had almost all of them and regretted it every time. They're just not good beers. There is something amateur tasting in all of them, like a bad, stale yeast. This beer is particularly terrible. Way too thin, and I mean no body for an autumn brew. The pumpkin flavor is way too heavy and not pleasant in any way. All those autumn spice flavors are in there, and as I taste them I wish I had one of the German purity beers without all this junk in there.

Wonderful blend of pumpkin and spices. Good feel throughout with a clean finish. Great overall pumpkin ale.

Very light for a pumpkin, almost a honey/amber. I really like the nose, though, in that you smell pumpkin first, rather than spice or beer malts. However, the taste falls flat know the pumpkin front. This is a decent, malty beer in the neighborhood of a marzen, with a happy kiss on the back end, but I don't get much pumpkin-y. Mouthfeel is nice: full, yet smooth.
