Poured the beer into my pub glass.
Appearance: At the first look I thought this would beer a good beer. The beer poured almost perfect darkness with slight ruby opaqueness to light. The head was a thick off white.
Smell: Smells like overly burned cheap coffee.
Taste: This beer taste of overly burned cheap coffee. There is no sweetness here.
Mouthfeel: This was pretty good actually. A very nice silky mouthfeel.
Drinkability: I couldnt finish this beer and a good portion of it became sink beer.
This is frankly the worst of the twelve beers of winter.

Pours a deep muddy mahogany with a coffee colored head.
Smells of coffee, dark chocolate, roasted slightly burnt malt, earthy wood, in the nose.
Bitter coffee and chocolate up front with a slight caramel malt middle, finishes earthy, woody, and herbal.
