pours a clear pale gold color w/ a thick pillowy white head that quickly settles leaving little lacing in my pilsen glass ; not much of a smell, hints of steely grain and some grassy hops ; taste is a bit thin as well, starts out well w/ a crisp hop bite combined a bready malt backing then quickly petering out, finishes well however ; slightly dry and light bodied brew, plenty of carbonation leaves a creamy feeling on the tongue ; a quaffable brew for sure, not a stand out pilsner, but not a bad on either...

Upstate Bohemian.
A malt forward version without the hop accent one normally expects from this style. Good, mild, clean, crisp, not Old World in approach but pleasant in it's own way.
Simply too mild for my tastes but it has it's place.

Yellow pour, good clarity, 3/4" white head. Aroma had some noble hops, minor in degree.
Highly carbonated pilsner, didn't pop with anything, hopping muted, malt muted, not even some euro lager aromas. Mineral, although the hops do seem to be the only thing present, not bad.
Saranac makes extremely pedestrian beers, this is no exception. Mild grain notes, noble hops, absent yeast impact. Easy enough for your mom to drink.
