Hazy light amber with a 1/2" white head, which fades to a wisp.

Aroma is floral, apricot, grapefruit, pine.

Taste is tart apricot, grapefruit zest, pine.

Medium body, light carbonation. Tart finish.

Nice tart apricot flavor.

Not really found in the Boston area, but picked up a few in Upstate NY after first hearing of it last summer. We love a good smokeable beer. We also love beer with good flavor. This is a lovely balance. Super light, but has tremendous IPA-like flavor while holding incredible depletion characteristics. Orange flavor, with some other citrus notes that subtle escape the can and dance on your nose. Another winner from Saranac

The pour looks good, and in spite of little aroma it delivers on its name in a technical sense. Juicy, sure. And sessionable. The main selling point, however, is that this is ridiculously cheap.

12 ounce can poured into a snulip glass.

L---Hazy, deep golden color. Fluffy white head faded quickly to a ring. Good lacing, though.

S---Sweet. Nectarine or peach is dominant.

T---Like the nose. nectarine or peach.

F---Medium bodied with ok carbonation.

O---OK, but not something I'll get again.

A: Poured from the can into a tulip glass, body is hazy golden-orange with a nice bright white 1-finger, foamy head on top. Some splotchy lace is left behind.

S: Oranges, citrus, and that Saranac yeast. Touch of caramel malt sweetness.

T: Citrusy hops over a modest malt bill. Oranges, grapefruit peel and lemon. The can says "Ale with natural flavors" - which makes me wonder if there's some citrus added to this for flavoring.

M: On the thin side for a NEIPA, but not terribly thin - especially for a 4.8% ABV "Session" IPA.

O: A solid ale for what it is, I'm liking it.

This is basically Legacy IPA light or maybe Baby Legacy. It shares much of the same pine and malt notes, as well as, the smell. Good haziness though that isn't present in the Legacy. Also a big more mango, orange, and lemon grass. Definitely more complex and NEIPA like albeit in a lower ABV than a big NEPIPA. Is a session NEIPA a thing? If so, this is probably it.
