Straw colored and completely see through with a fading white head, not much in the way of carbonation bubbles that I can see. Scent has a bit of spice to it along with some slight funky hops. Certainly drinkable flavor with a bready malt finish. Gentle bite in there too. Carbonation was more present than I would have thought, I’d call it medium. Not bad. A bit more herbal or mineral character in the flavor would help but not bad.

The Pills came in a summer pack of really fruity, flavorful beers and this was a great way to break them up. It was crisp and delightfully refreshing with a good snap from the hops and a smooth, semi-sweet malty finish. Overall, an easy-drinking summer beer. Like the name states, I’m sure its a great post-hike beer. Or you could drink it oceanside like I did, which also was an effective location for consumption.
