Pours a nice gold with one finger foam. Smell is malts, grass and some herbal notes. Taste follows of a typical German pilsner but watery. Goes down easy. A decent warm weather beer.

Poured into a shaker.
L: 4. Golden as per described. Excellent clarity. Plentiful carbonation. Slight head, sudsy white.
S: 3.25 A tad adjuncty. Corn. Bready malts. Not getting much hops.
T: 4.25 This surprised me. Floral. Sweet malts. A bite of bitterness from the hops. Maybe some spiciness. Honestly very very good.
F: 4. It's a pilz. Goes down easily, light mouthfeel with ticklish carbonation.
O: 4. Worth a shot. I'm not typically a big fan of Matt's lagers, but this one has won me over. I'd definitely grab a sixer if made available. For now I think it's only in the Irish Roots mixed pack.
