On draft at The Lark, East Northport, NY.
Poured a deep black hue with a two finger frothy tan head.
The smell featured a light roasted barley with a touch of caramel.
The taste consisted of an upfront light coffee with a lingering caramel sweetness.
The mouthfeel was toward the thinner side of the style. Finished very dry.
Overall a good stout with a bit of an annoying caramel.

On tap at the Lark in East Northport. Pours opaque black in color with a 2 finger creamy / foamy tan head that lasted a long time; good lacing that slides down the glass and leaves spotty lacing and rings.
Smells of grains, toasted biscuits, wheat bread, caramel, malt, yeast, toffee, and light coffee; an odd aroma that is funky, sweet and borders on smelling Belgian due to what I think is the yeast or odd grains used in the beer.
Tastes of grains, toasted sweet malt, wheat bread, caramel, funky yeast, toffee, light coffee, cocoa, vanilla, and then a metallic penny taste at the end that normally comes from a lot of yeast. Really odd flavor for a stout and I'm not sure it works.
Mouthfeel is light, crisp and watery with a light body and little to no carbonation; very light for a stout and easy to drink, but the funky taste takes away from the overall flavor and enjoyability.
