Opaque honey-strawed brew with little head that leaves quickly. Smells of grapefruit hops and malt. Taste is light, citrus with subtle hoppy notes. More malty that expected. Okay session.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a 14 oz "pint" glass. Pours straw with a small head that dissipates quickly. Smells of sweet grain, not much else. Tastes of grain with a very slight pine hop. Beer is very heavily carbonated but light body still goes down really easy. Overall, an average beer.

[Suggested Glassware: Shaker Glass]

The pour was a clear amber yellow with an average (1-2 finger) white fluffy head that reduced down to a thin film with a medium collar and had fair spotty lacing.

The aroma was of grain malts, grassy hops and an earthy yeast with notes of citrus (lemon and orange), honey and a light adjunct (corn) presence.

The taste was a light malty sweet with a touch of honey early on, progressing with a grainy bitterness and a hint of citrus towards the finish. The flavor lasted an average time following the swallow, with a lightly bitter citrus taste disappearing rapidly off the palate.

Mouthfeel was light in body with a dry, watery texture and a medium carbonation.

Overall this was a clean and crisp Blonde Ale with a smooth and easy drinkability, and although I did not find it to be anything special it still was not to shabby...

This so-called session ale pours like champagne: clear, bright gold in color, light-bodied and effervescent with bubbles rising from the bottom of the glass for the duration of the drinking session. The pure white head is fluffy, dense and craggy, about 2 fingers tall to begin with and showing good retention as it falls to just under a finger and stays there while leaving patches and spotting behind.
Citrus and earth are the primary notes in the aroma, and it does seem familiar after the Wild Hop pils. There's some grass and herb and a bit more pith as more of the citrus peel note makes itself strongly known.
It's hoppy for a blonde but still soft, with lots of citrus, grass, herb and biscuit alongside some cracker and a little sweetness. As it warms, there's some honey too.
The feel is firmly crisp in a light body but still, as with the flavor, plenty soft with some smoothness as well.

Poured from bottle into a pint glass

Appearance – The beer pours a medium amber color with a billowy white head. The head fades rather rapidly leaving only a very light level of lace on the sides of the glass.

Smell – The aroma is a mix of a grainy smell and a more lemon like aroma. There is a little bit of a fruit sweetness as well as a little bit of a floral smell as well.

Taste – The taste begins with a light and smoother bready taste mixed with a little bit of a lemonade sweetness. The sweetness quickly fades with the lemon growing a bit more sour as the flavor advances toward the end. As this occurs the bready taste takes on a more grainy nature. Along with the advent of the grainier taste, so too comes some flavors of a grassy and floral hop, in the end, leaving a light but crisp flavor on the tongue.

Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is very light with a carbonation level that is average to slightly above average. For the grainy and lighter tastes of the brew, the feel is perfect as it creates a more crisp brew and makes it all that much more refreshing.

Overall – Not a bad session brew. In considering the lighter grain and citrus flavors of the brew the decent level of hop at the end gives it just the right kick, all while the low abv makes it a good session and quite refreshing.

pours a golden yellow maybe a tinge of copper in the right light, and a white head that dies to a ring but sticks on the glass and stays at a ring. Smells way better then i thought, i was thinking this was gonna be a pretty boring kinda brew by the name. it reminds me of magic hat#9 with the very fruit mango with a hint of hops. The tatse is really refreshing, maybe its becasue i just came inside from cutting the grass. You really get a fruit mango thing kinda going on with a straw, hay sweetness from the malt and just a slight bitterness. mouthfeel is kinda thin but not watery but fits the beer just right. Overall i didnt think much of this beer but it really is great. smells like a magic hat, with the taste of a kinda bland NB sommersault.
