Appearance: Crystal clear gold color, fine bubbles, and a small head that, unfortunately, dissipates very quickly.
Aroma: Nice sweet malt aroma and a light, quite spicy hop nose.
Flavor: Light grainy sweetness up front, with a pleasant bitterness, higher than many German helles but still quite moderate. Clean yeast character and a simple, dryish finish.
Mouthfeel: Moderate texture, medium carbonation. No faults, but nothing special.
A nice Helles, which is a style hard to judge because even the best examples have subtle flavors. It's not an exciting or bold style, but when done well, like this Rahr beer, it's very pleasant and quite drinkable.

Clear light gold color with white cap and lacing.
Aroma of mild sweet malt and floral hops.
Taste is mild to mid malt with a spicy kick from the hops. Some elements of yeast bread and fresh hay with a dry, crisp finish.
Liight-mediuum texture with balancing carbonation.
Clean, pleasant take on a food and company friendly lager.

Rahr's Blonde has a thick, white head, a hazy, yellow-gold, bubbly appearance, and minimal lacing. Aroma is of sweet malt and faint, yeasty bread. Taste is of sweet, pale malt, sweet, white bread, and grassy hops. Mouthfeel is medium, and Rahr's Blonde finishes mostly dry and crisp.

Poured into a glass from a can.
A - Pours a clear straw, forming a very thin white head, with no lacing. Steady stream of carbonation through the drink.
S - The aroma of bready malt dominates the nose.
T - Taste is dominated by the malts, with a very doughy taste coating the palate. There is a slight metallic tinge in the finish, followed by just a hint of hop bitterness. The taste of the malts remains long after the finish, becoming a tad bit cloying.
M - Light mouthfeel with good carbonation.
O - Overall, a good light lager, but lacking a bit in complexity compared to the German varieties available.
