Poured from a 650ml bottle (dated with no month no day, just 2015 for the year) into a pilsner glass.
LOOK: Pours with two fingers worth of off-white foam that only loses a half fingers worth after two long minutes. Purest of ambers in color. Rising bubbles are in abbundance. See them supporting that foam head! Lacing is very high and remains stuck to the glass.
SMELL: Mild aromas of cinnamon graham crackers (that is totally legit), buttered bread malts, spicy hops that combine beautifully with hints of earthy hops, bitter hops, rye and alcohol.
TASTE: Initial taste is of strong graham cracker with mild cinnamon flavors sprinkled on top along with mild spicy hop and buttered bread flavors. Mild bitter hop and rye and subtle earthy hop and alcohol flavors enter immediately after the initial taste as all previous flavors persist, but buttered bread flavors grow stronger. This results in an sexy symphony of malt flavors that easily overtake the hop flavors. But wait, there's more! As you think the finale ends, BAM! Mild caramelized malt flavors, which were previously undetected by the nose, enter and peform the final note in this exploding symphony.
FEEL: Heavy-bodied and very creamy and smooth with a subtle carbonation. An absolutely stunning combination for the nerves in my mouth! Unfortunately, it has a dry finish that is definitely not crisp. It's almost as bad as an IPA.
NOTE: None really. This malt bomb of a beer was great!

650ml brown glass bottle with uninterestined label art and branded pry-off pressure cap acquired at a local bottle shop.
Served cold into a pilsner glass in me gaff in low altitude Austin, Texas. Reviewed live as an imperial pilsner per the label. Side-poured withs tandard vigor as no carbonation issues are anticipated.
No bubble show forms as it's poured.
HEAD: Two fingers wide. White in colour. Great frothiness. Nice creaminess and thickness. No lacing sticks to the sides of the glass as the head recedes. Retention is excellent - easily 10+ minutes.
BODY: Clear translucent copper with gold hues. Above average vibrance. Clean; no yeast particulate or hop sediment is visible.
Appears well-carbonated. It's a nice looking pilsner, but has no stand-out characteristics.
AROMA: Honey, golden malts, graham cracker, a hint of bubblegum hop character, grassy hop character, and German malt aromatics.
No yeast character, alcohol, or off-notes are detectable. The dominant graham cracker is a highlight, and gets me excited to try the beer.
Overall, it's a pleasant aroma of above average strength.
TASTE/TEXTURE: Graham cracker melts into the pilsner, Munich, and distinctly German malts. It's not as grassy as you'd expect a pilsner to be; the hop flavours are more of the bubblegum and floral variety. Honey malt adds needed depth and complexity, but also bolsters the body, making this a surprisingly full-bodied pilsner.
Has some caramel notes without ever feeling too sweet. There's a bit of piney hop character in the third act.
It's well balanced for what it is, but it leaves a lot to be desired in terms of complexity/intricacy, subtlety, and nuance. It's a pretty standard build for an imperial pilsner, aside from the graham cracker - which is fantastic.
Thick for a pilsner, without feeling overbearing. It's smooth, wet, slightly creamy, and overcarobnated. Mildly refreshing.
OVERALL: It's a nice little imperial pilsner with some interesting graham cracker flavours, but I can't see myself buying this again - at least not so long as it's only offered in the 650ml format. It's a product much better suited to 6-packs. I'll enjoy finishing the bottle, but I can't say it's a world class brew and I'll likely have forgotten it within the week. Pretty pedestrian stuff, but also very drinkable. Worth trying if you dig the style.
