Poured from a can into a tulip glass. Deep, dark brown with a short lived beige head and nice lacing. Fragrant cinnamon spice and dark berry smell. Chocolate taste with cinnamon and molasses. Not overly sweet. Good beer!

Poured into a nonic pint glass.

Look: The darkest hue of brown without being black, ruby shows through when held up to light. The massively foamy head is light khaki and leaves the glass covered in foam bands before I even take a sip. Great head retention.

Aroma: Slight malt roast with cinnamon, subtle cherry tart, gingerbread, and a brown sugar finish.

Taste: This starts out immediately with brown ale characteristics of dark chocolate and toasted grains but covered in cinnamon spice, dark dried fruits, and finishes a tad hot and spicy.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied, dry.

Overall: This is really good with a lot of flavors, like a good spiced brown ale.

Poured into nonic pint.

Appearance: Beiege head that lasts. Medium-dark brown.

Nose: WOnderfully sweet like roasted pecan, vanilla.

Taste: Chocolate, nuts, light hop bite on the finish.

Mouth: Very carbonated at first, but it settles into smoothness.

Almost like a blend between brown ale and a porter. Fantastic smell and a good taste as well. Had it out of season, but good ale is good ale.

12 oz bottle poured into a pint glass. Deep clear brown with thin tan head. Roasted nut and toffee on the nose. The taste is OK but similar to a lot of winter/Christmas ales this time of year. Not a bad beer just not very distinguishable.

Nice toasty roasted malts. Dark brown, medium IBU and body. Good brew, I'd get it again
