Pours a moderately hazy medium-golden color with two finger milky head.
Nose: Barny funk, orange marmalade, lemon, bread, yeast tingles the nostrils.
Taste: Quite sweet, lemon, mango, grape, candy sweetness.
Moderate to low carbonation. Sweet, slightly flabby finish.
Overall this beer has a great nose and flavor profile, but is distractingly sweet. Attenuate it a bit more and I think it would be a great brew.

A: 3.25 - Poured into a standard pint, I got almost no head despite a vigorous pour.
S: 3.5 - Is this a sour beer? No hops to speak of, but a green apple sort of tart scent.
T: 3.5 - Hmm, not sour--well, there is a little bit of a tart underpinning. Bitterness is on the low side of moderate. Lots of fruity yeast character.
M: 3.5 - A little thin, probably because it's so well attenuated.
O: 3.25 - Eh, not very good. I've been impressed by Rahr many times, but this offering completely underwhelms me.
