Rahr's Blonde Lager was the first beer to come out of Rahr & Sons Brewing Company. It is a medium-bodied traditional Munich-style Helles Lager that features a rounded maltiness without being too heavy. And like every proud Texan, it has a good head, is pleasant – but not overly sweet. Have some fun with a blonde today!

12oz can. Poured out a clear, straw-yellow color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled of caramel, floral notes and grasses. Sweet caramel, toffee and hints of citrus. Mild bitterness.

I got this from a self made six pack from Super Target in Frisco. It poured a clear golden with white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had nice cracker presence. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink. The mouthfeel is lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it's a solid beer.

Poured from a can into a shaker pint. Slightly cloudy yellow, no real head or lacing. Pleasant but light smell. It tastes surprisingly good. It is clean, slightly sweet, with a nice bitterness at the end. Probably not something I would get again, but I could recommend it.

Medium-bodied, pleasant but not overly sweet. Good Texas beer. I'm a Wit drinker but it's nice to get something stronger.
