I had this on tap at the Brewpub recently, served chilled. Listed as a saison brewed with spelt and hopped with strisselspalt and sorachi ace fermented with Hawthorn berriers.

The color is golden with light hazed look with thin white head and fine bead. The smell is very earthy and has a fruity scent with slight spice from the yeast and gentle hay-like aroma from the malt with a husky quality and some phenolics from the yeast. The feel is decent with very dry and spiced feel that verges on chalky but stays more on the simple dry side with malt light and moderate carbonation with a subtle fruity sweet accent.

The taste is pretty good with dry maltiness and light citrus flavor followed by earthy yeast and light fruit elements with malt in the middle and subtle hop flavor with a spiced quality from the yeast and perhaps vinous hint near the finish, but very mild. Overall I like the drinkability I think it is good for a small saison-not one I would session but interesting to try.
