Poured on tap at Meridian Pint DC.

Pale amber body with a hint of bronze color to it, slightly hazy with some thin rising carbonation. Thin bone white collar presented.

Nose is very closed. There's virtually nothing going on here. A faint whiff of mild toasty malts and cream comes out just barely but otherwise I get next to nothing.

Palate fills nicely though and surprisingly. Very good mouthfeel that is lush and coating. Muted caramel in the mid palate with some light sugar. Aftertaste has a nice hop balance of mild fruit to match. Repeat sips are easy to come by and pulls out more of the flavor with repeated sips. Huge backbone with a citrus angle slightly that grows with more sips.

Overall at such a low abv this is actually very impressive as it feels like a very full pale ale. Quite a nice beer from these guys.
