Looks like SoCal will be getting the next round of Enjoy By from Stone. Let the madness begin. Info can be found on their facebook page.

Seems like the madness has died down. The last batch 2-15-13 was pretty slow moving and it only had one outlet in Pasadena for all of Los Angeles.

I used the 2-15-13 batch as extras

That's a good thing. This shouldn't be a whale. It should be drunk fresh and enjoyed. I'm excited to have access to it again.

I agree. The frenzy and hype on the last couple releases here in LA/OC was absolutely ridiculous. Its in regular rotation and we all should be able to enjoy a few bottles without it feeling like we're scoring drugs in a back street alley.

    Cheers...

They are increasing the supply for this batch, according to the Stone Rep.

Maybe they will increase the bottle allotment at the Stone stores on this release. Or not. I may have to drive down to the Oceanside store again. Be nice to have 3-5 bottles and a couple of growler's of this delicious beer. I finished my last growler of Enjoy By 2-15-13 last week. Still tasted very good.

I landed 3 bottles today, and opened one. It was my first ever Enjoy By, and it was like my first taste of PtY last year. Underwhelming. I was good, but not as good as it's previous scarcity implies.

Cool, leave it on the shelves for the everyone else!

Best damn hoppy beer ever brewed by Stone IMO, except for maybe Ruination 10th.

I'll admit, i bought 3 bottles assuming i'd love it, and I like it a lot, but I was expecting a little more. Hell...I'd take a Lagunitas Sucks over it any day.

I'd like to see a Lagunitas-Stone collaboration on this sort of DIPA, called "Sucks after..." (e.g. "Sucks after 7/4/2013").

I crushed a growler on Monday & it was quite tasty. Their Enjoy By series is really the only thing I'll buy from Stone any longer.

I had this last night at Bottlecraft and thought it was excellent. In fact we opened up two bombers.

That's a pretty interesting definition of pretty slow moving.

This is no succor, but this batch is kinda underwhelming. It's noticeably less intense in the aroma department. My no-basis-in-actual-fact-armchair-analysis is that they had some issue scaling up production this time (this is a MUCH, MUCH bigger batch this time, it would seem, given the number of markets it will be made available in). It's good, but if this is the only taste of Enjoy By I'd ever had I wouldn't exactly be rushing out every release to land some.

Maybe there is some bottle variation but I think this is the best batch since the original. This includes drinking a growler and a bottle (bought at brewery). Had a really intense aroma.
