Everett is the ultimate winter ale, I'd like to see it on more in the winter. I try int now and then in the hot weather, but it's best drank in front of a fireplace.

Never had a problem on Wednesdays a bit after noon. It isn't empty, but usually only a handful of people. It is pretty crazy that I use to always go on Saturday and it was rare to see another person there. Now you'll easily wait an hour or 2, or even more.

An FYI for those coming up this tomorrow/this weekend, S+S6 should be on tap at Blackback starting tomorrow. Hunger Mountain had another delivery of Jester King. As of yesterday-ish, they had 2 Funk Metals on the shelf. Also had 4 others. Got my fill, so don't mind passing the info along

I asked about the "real" bottle count today and the indication was that somewhere between 700-800 would actually be up for sale. Not sure if this count includes the bottle that every Collected Works member gets or not...

There were 30+ people in line by the time noon rolled around, which in my experience is a large group for noon on a Wednesday (even when other limited release beers are on the shelf). I was happy to be in the first 10 that got let in and didn't have to stand in it any longer.

Wednesday or Thursday starting noontime - mostly locals, no lines/waiting. Friday & Saturday - whole 'nother story.

In line now - got here 11:30 and we're 5th/6th in line - about 10 ppl behind us now.

Taylor Rd > Sallis > Hillcrest > Hill Rd coming from 16 was mostly melted not too bad driving wise.

Taylor Rd -> Jaffin Flats -> Hill Rd is easier.

CD4 was on the shelf for a bit at noon today. Pretty psyched. Thanks to Shaun!

Re: Arthur. I asked Phil and the bottles that were on the shelf were NOT a new batch. They were the last (~60 or so at noon today) of the first version to go through the oak puncheons (late '12 release). Looking at the HF site now they must have sold them all today - no longer listed. So the next batch will be a new batch =)

They only pulled 12 bottles and didn't announce so it was only if you saw it on the shelf...
Phil also said they expected Norma to be gone by about Mid-day saturday.

Hope the people coming from the Lawson's release can drive fast enough.

Sonofabitch! Should have stuck with the plan to go up there today. Shocked how fast Norma is going.

That's actually not true. Phil likely said: "if we hadn't of changed the limit from 2 bottles to 1 bottle, they would be gone before mid day Saturday..."

850 bottles up for sale. That does not included the collected works allocations.

I'm curious if the CD4 was planned or was put out to make up for the decreased bottle limit for people who made it there as early as they could on Thursday. We got there around 1230 on Wednesday and don't believe that any CD4 or anything else unexpected was out on the shelves.

They put old stuff out from time to time. No rhyme or reason to it.

Actually... there is almost always reason to everything we do  This was because of the decreased Norma allocation... and a guilt complex...
