I still have some in my cellar. I'll have to crack one and see how it's drinking.

What the hell? I'd buy the fuck out of that if ONLY for the Plead The Fifth (I like those other beers, don't get me wrong). :grimacing:

Montgomery County, MD sucks. They send nothing good out here... Stupid county laws overriding the state laws!

Best RIS made in MI imo and loving the fact that I can still find them lingering around hole in the wall bottle shops.

Best non-barrel aged stout I've ever had. Sorry, other guys...

Plead The 5th is fantastic. Living in Michigan has its perks; Pt5th and Double Crooked Tree in beer stores!

Sadly I have to say I have only had Pt5 with a year of age on it, but I never knew it was tis hoppy. Lots of pine and not as ashy as with some with age on it. Still my favorite non BA stout though.

Luckily DC and VA are right next door. At least great beer is within an hours drive.

I'll second this. I just picked up another 4 pk. So delicious.

Yeah.. that's a valid point. I'm just bitter that one of the better beer stores in the county (half a mile down the street) can't get much of anything. Convenience is always nice.

Do you mind sharing where you just picked up a 4? I was in Madtown 2 weeks ago and everyone was out.

One store only let me buy 1 bottle, then another encouraged me to buy a fourth 4 pack, but I politely declined.

Gotta plan ahead; it's almost KBS and BCBW time.

I've never seen any bottles for sale at the brewery besides 4 Elf

There was some ashy, smoke, cigarette like taste that I didn't enjoy too much, but I have some 2012 coming my way - will give it another try. I did really enjoy bourbon aged version of it though.

They posted on their FB page awhile back that they had both Pt5 and Double Crooked Tree bottles for sale in their store. Probably want to call them first and find out.

Did you buy that at Bella Vista? I think they put it together themselves which is why other markets may not see it.

You definetly underpaid. Each of the regular stouts in the pack cost about 50$ a case and Pt5 goes for ~80.
I think I got the variety case for ~55ish.
