Sucaba is a terrific beer - it is just not on the same level as King Henry in most peoples opinions. However, King Henry may be the best Bourbon barrel aged Barleywine ever. Just because Sucaba is not its equal does not lesson the fact that it is an amazing beer in its own right. It's like comparing Lebron James to Carmelo Anthony in basketball. Lebron is one of the top 10 players of all time and working his way up the list. Carmelo is not as good as Lebron but is a perennial all star who leads his team to the playoffs every year and has won 2 gold medals and a national championship and will someday be in the hall of fame. Consider yourself fortunate to be drinking either beer on a given day. Cheers!

Local store has plenty in stock - and I only checked one of 3 "good" stores within 5 miles of me. May have to stock up to age and trade

I picked up 4, could have gotten more but at the price of 15 each it's hard to justify it. I hear some people drinking them fresh and some people ageing them. Does anyone not like them aged? Either way I'm going to age at least 1 of those.

Got one. It flew off the shelves in stores in Denver. didn't look like many stores got it, and if they did, then maybe a case tops. Happy to drink this one on a special occasion!

I had 1 from '12 in the bottle and 1 from this year on tap and they were both excellent but I think the freshness really stood out. Incredible beer when fresh.
