    Good Evening BA's

My last one. Glad I finally got to have some though. Pliny has surpassed my previous two favorites (Double Jack, Heady Topper).

Got some All Day IPA's on deck and probably night cap with a Sucaba.

    Cheers!

Went with a Bitter Valentine. Hopefully the terps don't leave me bitter tonight.

My third barrel-aged beer from Evolution Brewing - and last, at least for the forseeable future. Evolution has definitely caught my attention. As Larryi86 noted, and I wholeheartedly agree, that they are doing some real nice stuff with barrel-aging. If they ever distribute in my area, they've got a customer.

"Dark Belgian Style Ale... brewed with wildflower honey, belgian candi sugar and aged in red wine barrels"

A nice red wine/dark ale hybrid, maybe leaning a little bit toward the wine flavors initially (IMO), but with a malt backbone that asserts itself more as the beer warms. It finishes with gracefully and smoothly, but with a nice little bit of tartness, too. Good stuff.

Honestly really impressed. I think I like it better than Mexican Cake (which I love).

My sinuses are waging war with me tonight but I still felt like a beer so in my taste impaired state I grabbed the most common beer in my fridge as not to waste something .rar

I think this is it for tonight.

Better man, Tom? No I don't think so but I can say I'm feeling this one . Maybe I should not have taken this one to the dome considering I have to work 8am-10pm tomorrow :flushed:
