Just a heads up that doesn't necessarily mean it was distributed...

    Cheers!

I don't think it was, at least I haven't seen it anywhere else yet. This guy must know somebody b/c he always is loaded with 3F stuff. He even had Murda'd Out Stout a few months back. Going for $68 and people were buying it.

I doubt he "knows" someone. Either he or someone else is muling it from the brewpub.

Agreed, especially since the Murda'd had no label info whatsoever...That store just got a bullseye put on him..

FFF doesn't send anything to Jersey.

I saw Rye'd at a couple of stores.

Rye da Tiger or Rye da Lightning? Rye da Tiger was distributed. Rye da Lightning was brewpub only, so if you saw it in a couple of stores, those stores muled it from the brewpub as well.

I thought it was an average beer at best and I'm a huge FFF fan and loyalist......

Agreed. I love black IPAs and I do love the 3 Floyds typical flavor profile. This one, however, just wasn't special.

Im pretty sure that Lemon tree is buying from the carry out window. They have now had 4 beers that I did not see anywhere else - stack n stabb, murda'd, Suffering and rear nelson. The pub said that stack and murda'd would not be distributed. Im assuming that suffering and nelson did not go out either.

They're muling all of it, for sure.

Stuff like Panzer Wolf, Dreadnaught, Rye da Tiger, now that gets sent out.

Couldn't they lose their liquor license for selling a product without state label approval (Murda'd Out)?

Tried this a few days ago an enjoyed it. Not a fan of many black IPAs, but I'd drink this one again for sure.

You'd think so, but I am not sure of the exact laws. They probably just assume it'll sell quick and no one will report it.

What I don't understand is why someone would be willing to pay a premium for an already overpriced bottle. Murda'd Out was available at the brewpub for like a month straight. Just take a short drive already.

They were selling Lord Rear Admiral for $1 more than the brewpub, so that's easily a better option. As for the $15 markup (or whatever it was) for Murda'd, if you take into account the 80 mile round trip from Downers Grove to FFF, you're gonna spend about $10+ in gas alone, plus waste 2+ hours of your life. I'm not condoning it (especially 'cause I drove all the way to FFF and picked up a teku for you...), but it's really not that ridiculous.

I wouldn't call it wasting time if you're going to hang out and have a few. What I'm getting at is that the Murda'd Out release wasn't like BA Behemoth w/ Cherries. That one only lasted the afternoon, I believe.
