When I finally make it to Seattle, I'll be needing your advice on the choice watering holes. I already know to hit Elysian per your advice. Although I'm seriously contemplating waiting until winter to visit just so I can try your namesake beer there. Just sounds like the ideal winter warmer.

Make sure to drink a loerik in between. The low level of carbonation acts as a palette cleanser.

Yeah bifrost is awesome, but I would strongly recommend making a trip up here in the summer instead of winter, cause if you come in the winter it's just going to be rainy and gloomy everyday, if you want bifrost in the winter I can always send you some . I'd be down to go get a beer when you're up here, but make sure you also check out Brouwers, The Noble Fir, and Bottleworks, you won't be disappointed.

Up next, my first Resin! This stuff is pretty good, much better than other Sixpoint offerings I have had.

I live in Southern California, so I get too much sunshine and heat as is. Truth be told, I'm more a fan of the regular rains and gloom of the Pacific NW. Sadly, I chose a wife who was born and raised down here and therefore I will always be stuck down here as a result. That was a worthwhile trade.

But I'll be happy to send you a growler of my local pub's finest in exchange for a bottle of the winter warmer when the winter comes again.

Moved onto NC Old Stock. It's 2012 vintage, so it could definitely use some age. Not bad overall, but I can tell that this one is going to age well. In the meantime, there's a bit too noticeable a tropical fruit flavor in it.
