    i like the wagers idea. too bad i'm rooting for a last place team and really dont expect them to win very many series

    alrighty everyone, here are my thoughts:

    1. If someone has an idea for a pop-up wager, just post it on the thread. I'm on here enough, that I'll check it out and give it thee old 'take your base' or 'yoouuuuuu'rrrrrrrre ouuuuutaaaaaa heeeeeerrrrrrrree'.
    2. Once the pop-up wager is approved, it will be open to anyone who is interested.
    3. I think once the pop-up wager is posted, we should give it 5 or 7 days, for everyone in the BIF to have a chance to get it on it.
    4. After the 5 or 7 days is up, the pop-up wager will be locked until someone wins.
    5. No response from any BAer's will obviously count as a 'non interest' in the bet.
    6. I'll, (and anyone who wants too also can) keep track of who's in and who wins. And then I'll post in the thread and send out BM's to everyone who will have to send a bottle to the winner.

    I def think this will keep interest going through such a long season.

    Any thoughts, ideas, comments, concerns, or refutes??

    First bet:
    the over-under on Pujols' first stint on the DL; June 1st hahahahah JK!!!

    I'd be in to have a 13 run pool if you guys have ever done that. Anybody that wants to be in it keeps their team and first to score 0-13 runs wins. One winner, everyone who joins puts up a 35 oz box. Any takers?

    Sorry I didn't fully explain it. I was just mentioning it.

    It's pretty much first team to "tick" every score from 0 runs to 13 runs in a single game. So the winner would be the team who scores 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12, and 13 first. Everybody who wants in puts up 1 box, first to hit it takes all. I did a cash one last season.

    I may or may not be down for pretty much every side bet (how's that for commitment!)...

    As a side note: Cabrera goes down with an injury, Fielder is no longer pitched to, and Verlander remains the only real pitcher on the staff, thus allowing the surprise White Sox to seize the AL Central and the title, 2005 style. Don't stop believing...

    I'm more trusting of the Tigres to blow their chances than I am for both El Burro Grande and Rios to both actually live up to their reputations and contracts...call me cynical...
