They really are, I have a set of four of them. The new Cantillon glass looks to be similar in style.

I want that new Cantillon glass...soooo sexy. I think it's even nicer than the 3F glass.

Actually, about how tall is the new Cantillon glass?

 

Pretty tall, I can measure later.

 

nice additions, i need to find a Cantillon Balloon Glass at some point...

 

I'd say it's worth getting. I haven't done a side by side comparison with any other glass but it did seem to bring out the aromas and taste pretty well.

nice! i've been noticing lots of little variations like this lately. for example...eclipse snifters...there are 2 versions:

also Hill Farmstead switched from white lettering to a satin etched looking writing. just another element to geek out about.

 

Thanks so much again for the trade. The Cantillon balloon glasses are really difficult to find. Even when they were available from the Belgian sites that ship, they sold out lightning fast. Supposedly, Cantillon is not selling them anymore. They've switched over to new glasses. Jnorton00 is the only one that I've seen post a picture of the new Cantillon glassware and he happened to be at the brewery around the time they were released. Really nice looking glasses.

 

I know their easy to get but I had to get my picture in this thread too. Haha

 

that fonteinen glass is easily my fav lambic glass. its crystal too.

 

Agreed. Wonderful crystal glasses, well worth the $12 price tag per glass.

 

Are there any US-based places that sell (and will ship) those 3F stemmed glasses or is buying it from somewhere overseas like belgiuminabox my only option?
