I know, I know. I'm a twenty twelver, I'm late to the party, etc, etc, but what an amazing beer. I am a dyed in the wool BA Stout Guy, but I might even go as far as to say this is the best beer I've had yet..definitely the best DIPA I've sampled. Big, big ups to the folks at Lawson's Finest.

The latest batch of DS is far and away the best yet!! Really, it is so damn good.

Don't play your entire hand until you've had Abner.

I've been fortunate enough to enjoy a lot of the top rated IPAs/DIPAs, and in my opinion Double Sunshine ranks among the best of them.

Another clear sign that Hoppiness is taking over... I have not had this Double Sunshine you speak of but my mind was blown stepping into Alpine having a fresh pint of Expo and taking home a couple Nelsons.

Hoppiness has taken over. This website should be renamed IPAadvocate. Ha ha.

If you've access to VT beers, wait 'til you get some Heady Topper!

The latest batch of DS is the only time that I've been "disappointed" with DS. Still outstanding, but this batch definitely leaves a bit to be desired in comparison to previous batches (in my opinion). At first I thought it was my palate, but I've chatted with a few other locals who seem to think the same. There was also a discussion about it here.

I actually have had both, but I actually prefer DS by a hair. Just me though..

My wife and I just got back from VT. We hit Alchemist,Hill Farmstead and the warren general store for our Lawson. We would have to agree. Double sunshine won the side by side with HT,society & solitude and Dbl. sunshine .But you cant go wrong with any of them.

Funny because I have had many batches of DS and always enjoyed Triple Play more because a greater hop presence. This batch of DS seems more aromatic and tasty to me than it ever has in the past.

Could be bottle, palette, age, situational or hop/ingredient variation, but for whatever reason this last batch finally "hit me."
