Those Saint Arnold tasters are awesome, love all the different colors.

 

I hope you don't, they have not had the glass for a couple of years.

 

I snagged this glass for $1.03 at a thrift store near my house on Saturday. I also found a sexy ass tulip (unbranded) for the same price. For $2, I think I made out OK. My wife loves thrift stores, and now I'm beginning to see why. She also grabbed me a Lambic basket there for $3.

Nah, I'll try to snap one tonight. She actually bought me 2, one of which had the loose ring at the end that you pull over the neck of the bottle, and that ring was unravelling (sp?) and came off. The one that I like best has the ring built in to the basket with a small oval base.

 

Never saw this mini Lucifer glass, but it's pretty bad ass. The base is as big as the regular bowled snifter, but the glass is like half the size. Not bad for $0.00 from a local shop.

 

You paid $0.00 for that? Inflation has really taken a toll in our economy.

Seriously though, I saw that mini glass on GlobalBeer and wanted one oh so bad, but they're asking $25 which is beyond ridiculous. Half the glass for twice the price!

 

Another glassware package hit today which took care of some long time wants.



Only the Lost Abbey teku, a Hunahpus snifte, and some Alchemist glasses left to come in this week...
Then I might need to take a break for a month.

Glad they didn't re-release the 08 so mine is still RARE! Mwahahaha

 

At least the '08 one looks decent...this one is just...well I guess the word "hideous" works

 

I also don't like it and will be storing it in the back of my glassware cabinet, but it's a must for the collection. My '08 will proudly be stored at the front though!

 

Wish they had at least used the label more in that design...oh well. Will still get it, of course.

I couldn't agree with you more. The 2008 KBS glass was for all intent purposes, perfect. I loved the label and shape. I've also spent the better part of two years trying to find a set. I will order a set of the new ones, but my heart will always be with the older version. I only wish someone would offer me a set.
