$10.99 in cincy for a 6-pack. Logically I'll guess a 12-pack will cost $20.99, saving you a dollar or if your smart $20.99 for not buying it.

I have always considered cans to be superior to bottles for beers made in large quantities. For years, I have heard craft brewers say that the cans are inferior. Therefore, I would expect that the cans should be priced lower than bottles.

Founders has always charged the same price for everything that comes in a six-pack... so if you want them to charge less for All Day IPA, you can be sure Dirty Bastard and Centennial will go up in price to accommodate. Their idea has always been to keep their pricing structure as simple as possible, which is nice.

I'd love to have a few sixes of canned all day next to my dales pale ale in the fridge this summer

I don't know about that. Dales 6ers are like 949 here and the 12s are only 1499.

That's a great deal! They also only can beer. This is new for founders. I just don't see that happening with founders, hell even SNPA is $15.99 around here at the cheapest for 12pk cans. If its below $18 I would be very surprised.

Just when you think Founders couldn't do anything else stupid they go and do this. Founders should be spending money to make more CBS for Michigan distribution not buying a canning line. With the exception of KBS and CBS they've lost a customer hopefully more people will join me in letting Founders beers sit on the shelves until they release CBS again.

Because having more canned beer options is the worst.

What's going to make Founders more money? Putting a sessionable IPA in cans? Or slightly increasing distribution in Michigan for one of their most difficult to produce and rare beers?

If they make more money first, perhaps they can do both in the long run.

As a side note, multiple beers are being offered in both cans and bottles....one would think this will eventually take up too much shelf space.....

I really hope this is out in time for my vacation in June. I'll be drinking that stuff on the beach all week.

That's awesome news! Also heard that sometime in the future Bell's is going to start canning Two Hearted.

I'm still anxiously awaiting 2hearted coming out in cans (anyone hear a date yet?) but this is awesome to hear as well. Like everyone has already said, the pricing on the 12pk should be interesting....if it ends up around the 16-17 mark I will likely buy it quite often over the summer.

$13.99 for a 6 pack at chris gasbarros in mass. I passed with no second thought. Seeing these posts it looks like that was really high, so I'm going to have to seek it out for a decent price
