True story. Peeps are made in my area and way back when I worked in business forms, we stored our inventory in the same warehouse where Just Born Candy stored their Peeps. They make this stuff around late Summer/Early Fall and then stick it in a warehouse. The day I was at the warehouse getting emergency cases of forms for a customer I encountered a dude called "The Peep Inspector". He was going through the cartons they had in storage, taking readings with a sharp object of humidity levels and temperature readings inside of the boxes they were stored in. (I'm not making this crazy stuff up...true story, I actually talked to the guy.) The job of "Peep Inspector" for some reason totally rocks...stick some boxes, record some numbers, then kick off for the rest of the day (and maybe have a few beers). Dang...I want "Peep Inspector" on my resume!

 

Split a 09 bomber of BCBS next to a 12 oz 2012 version... Didn't realize the 13% to 15% change. Much more vanilla in the 09.. Each great in their own unique way! Happy Easter BAs!!

Earlier it was La Fin Du Monde. And I shared a bomber with the other kids.
I did red wine with Easter dinner. Merlot was good with Lamb chops.
Now I am doing this as a nightcap before I lock into the new season of Game of Thrones.

 

It's definitely more a straightforward take on the style than the Aventinus, but most definitely a quality beer.

 

I share your feelings which is precisely why I bought 3 4pks this year.
