Paid $40 and tax on a case. It's good but for the price I can't justify it too many times. Rather a full size IPA and have other low abv beers around. I do not get the can love. Not in love with the plastic liners in cans and why is a can better? I grab a bottle from the cooler or fridge, pour to a glass. I would think cans should be less as they can pack more cases in a truck and they weigh less so transport should be much less. I will stick with bottles most times. 12oz bottles.

    Enjoy

I hate all day ipa. It is just too watered down

Have you ever tried pouring a beer in to a glass while canoeing or fishing?

I always see a 12 pack of craft beer and I'm like, why is that $17.99? It's a 12 pack of cans..

I'm not being snarky, I'm legitimately interested. Do you have any studies to confirm your fear of the plastic liners? Do you know the percentage of BPA in the Founders cans to support your concern?

Please link to actual studies, not cnn.com articles. As far as I've read (admittedly I haven't researched this at length) the fear seems to be unfounded. Some studies say BPA MAY be causing cancer, but there's no proof. Certainly not on the level of something such as carcinogens from smoking.

Easily the worst Founders beer. I'd rather have a Leinenkugel Summer Shandy.

Yes, clearly what needs to happen is we all need to provide Founders less money until they use all that money they no longer have as a result of this brilliant boycott to mass produce one of their most-expensive-to-brew beers. Makes perfect sense.

Founders calling All Day an IPA is like 3 Floyds not calling Zombie Dust an IPA.

Between this and Fatheads Sunshine Daydream I have my tailgating beers lined up.

    Cheers!

Should be a winner at the beach/pool, I had my 1st sixer this weekend and it was better than I expected for such a low ABV IPA. I've had low ABV IPA's here locally and I think they suck, way too bitter and very little malt to balance things out, but that's why it's a low ABV. Founders hit it.

I am really looking forward to camping this summer with all of the "craft cans" that are going to be available this summer. Most of the parks and perserves we camp at prohibit bottles so I was usually stuck with Fat Tire or SN Pale Ale as my go to camping beers. Really looking forward to some variety this year.

Loved the aroma on this beer but found the mouthfeel and taste to be thin, and it is unusually expensive for such a low abv beer. I know Founders has said it's expensive to make despite the low abv, but it's literally double the price of other quality IPA's when you consider price to abv ratio, so I probably wouldn't be purchasing a whole lot of it.

It's only $8.99 a sixer here ($7.99 at one store on sale), which I consider pretty standard pricing.

That's a good price!!! Here in NJ it's $10.99 or even $11.99 and like I said, I can buy better IPA's with 2X the abv for less.

It's nowhere near my favorite IPA, but it's nice to have a low ABV option. Sometimes I like to have multiple beers (yard work, fishing, canoeing) without being completely faced and useless.

This will be absolutely perfect for camping, canoeing and tailgating.

Yet the stores in my area do not. They vary anywhere from $11.49 for the seasonals up to $13.99 for Centennial IPA - even at the same store. When I bought my first six pack of All Day this year, it wasn't in the system yet and the beer mgr told the clerk to charge me the same price as the IPA, I told him I'm going to put it back at that price - he then told the clerk to charge me the seasonal price - I told him that's better, but its still too much for this beer. I can see buying quite a few 12 packs this summer if they are less than $18 though.

Any specific release date set for these to start hitting stores?

thats awesome...but honestly i wouldn't even bother unless they dropped the price. but i doubt they're going to do it. over here its like $11.00 for a 6pack...IMO it taste good for what it is but i feel like the price doesn't do it justice being a session beer at 4.7% ABV
