Surprised there isn't already one of these. Easily one of the best breweries in Texas, and definitely my favorite tasting room to visit here in Austin. The greenhouse series/volumes of oak are both always interesting and pretty well done. Post here with any cool tap sightings or just to show some love for them.

I love Hops and Grain. There is some great talent at work there.

Zoe, their pale lager should be hitting stores very soon.

Love the A Pale Mosaic Pale Ale. It's fantastic.

The tasting room is badass. The mosaic is pretty damn good. My favorite is the Funk Del Roble, I would love for them to can this stuff.. It reminds me of Rayon Vert, I could drink it every day. It's easy to support them when they're beer is that good.

I'm excited about Zoe, but more French Oak Alt would be amazing. It was delightfully good.

Great beers and seriously nice people. I've almost always got some Alteration in my fridge. The Greenhouse project is a nice little experimental sideline - every brewery should have one. And they're the subject of the latest Beer Diaries episode.

Shameless plug.. The month of April is going to be a Hops & Grain month up at Banger's. New Greenhouse stuff every Monday of the month and I can say that there is going to be some really exciting stuff coming out.

I've never been disappointed in any beer they've released in the Greenhouse series. Never.

I had their Belgian Porter at Pinthouse last week and that stuff is amazing.

If anyone is going to Hops & Grain tomorrow, I'm gonna try to drag the lady down there around noon for a tour/tasting.

BTW: ALTeration and Pale Dog are $6.99/6-pack at Whole Foods this week. Picked up a case of ALTeration at that price!

Had a lot of fun at Hops & Grain.

They had palates of cans for The One They Call Zoe, which they are going to start canning next week (I believe he said it would be on shelves around April 1st). I personally love that beer and it's going to be a mainstay in my fridge.

Also picked up a cool ass glass with the tour (I like that they give you options of a snifter, lager glass, and can glass). My girlfriend got the Pale Dog can glass. Next time snifters.

Woah those are some cool glasses.

I'm hooked on Common Denominator of late. From what I can remember it's a blend of three beers, one of which is the oaked <edit> alt. Anyway, fantastic beer that is very complex. It's currently on tap at Drink.Well.

    Edit: From their FB page:

'The 2013 CD is a cuveé style blend of three beers - a bourbon barrel aged imperial ALT, french oak cabernet barrel aged bier de mars and Balcones whiskey barrel aged Barleywine. HOLY MOLY!'

Finally made it to Hops & Grain last trip to Austin at the beginning of the month. Thoroughly impressed by the beers. I wasn't expecting the Greenhouse beers to be so diverse and for there to be so many. H&G is definitely going into the regular line up of places to go on subsequent trips.

I find it odd...I love me some H&G but I have never been the biggest fan of their canned beer line. If I see a greenhouse, I will 100% grab that. If I see one of their normal releases, I always tend to go elsewhere.

Granted, the Alt is good stuff, just not my favorite.

I think Pale Dog is awesome in a can and usually very fresh.
