Show off your cool glassware

Ah, if they were both mine I'd be willing, but all the doubles belong to my brother as well as the St. Bernardus glass

What would everyone say is the coolest / best full size snifter that is easily available (i.e. can purchase from brewery's website or find on e-bay) ? I am looking for a nice, thick snifter. I have a few (Great Lakes being one of them) that looked a lot smaller and thinner than what they did on the website.

Duvel. It's a tulip, not a snifter, but they're sturdy as hell, it's a great size and you can get one at pretty much any retail or online store that sells glasses, or from Ommegang's website. And there are like 15 different patterns from different artists, too, if you feel like playing Pokemon. Gotta catch em all!

 

Some new glasses I received the past few days... the tasting glass I ordered on line (the top of the head is a bit rubbed off when they arrived). the Southampton was a surprise from a buddy who picked up for of their Russian Imperial Stout for me last week.

 

A bottle store in near my house but in Quebec had a promotion where if you were friends with them on facebook you got a free glass with any purchase. I picked this guy up last week.




It very nice although it only holds about 10 ounces of beer.

I had that old one and I literally dropped a couch on it while I was cleaning under it, lol.

It was almost dust, hahah! I'm good at completely murdering my glasses when I do it.

 

The GI tasters I just got had the same problem. What gives.

 

I picked up 7 from a tasting a while back and I think only 1 of them is 100% fine on the goose; the rest are all faded a bit to some degree.

 

I've e-mailed Barley and Vine to see if they have gotten other complaints.
I'll manage provided the rest of the damned goose doesn't flake off.

 

It might be GI. I bought a Matilda chalice awhile back and as soon as I washed it, the "M" logo rubbed off about 15%. I emailed GI, they apologized, then sent me a silver goose chalice instead.

 

I'm sure this is all InBevs fault!

Used my tasters last night, just finished hand washing them VERY carefully and I've also started to notice the same thing. Needless to say, these are staying on the shelf now.

 

I sent an email as well. I want reparations damnit!
