I've been wanting to try White Chocolate and Imperial Lokal Red. I'll buy a membership next week.

Just picked up my Preservation package:

The three beers, a small button with the Preservation Society logo, that nice box with a carry handle and a letter detailing the beers you received, suggested pairings, etc.

Grabbed a bottle of Mrs. Stoutfire while I was in as well.

    Now what to drink first...

But it clearly said in their last email, to wait for the official email stating allocations are ready before coming in to pick them up!

    Hey guys,

We're going to be sending an email out shortly, but I figured I'd touch on a a few quick points:
    1) Packages are ready to pick up / started shipping yesterday! Each quarters' packages will be sent/ready on the first day of the following quarter.
    2) The recurring payments went through yesterday. Members' cards will be charged on the first day of the quarter, which holds their spot in the society. If payment is declined, the Members' spot will be held for the next 2 weeks while the card is run again every 7 days.
    3) I'm working on finding a solution to changing the shipping vs. pickup preference, and changing billing information.
    4) Quarter 2's shipment will include: Bois (100% bourbon barrel aged Anniversary), Saison Tonnellerie (a sour Barrel Fermented Saison) and a yet-to-be-named Barrel Aged Stout (I believe it's around 8-9% ABV)
    5) Q2 enrollment is open.

"Yet to be Named" would be good name for a beer actually.

When is the best time to pick up, in your opinion?

Weekday mornings are pretty much guaranteed to be the slowest times... Conversely, friday afternoon through Sunday night is the busiest time for Society Pickups.

Personally, I'd say any evening after 5pm Monday through Thursday, that way you can have a beer while you're in .

    Hey Matt,

I don't believe the "update account info" button is live on the account page. I just tried loading the page, and it doesn't show up. I also logged out and logged back in but still didn't work. Might want to have someone take a look.

Excited to get my box, and Q2 looks even better than Q1! Q4 will clearly have Black Tuesday in it (the significant barrel-aged strong ale, as White Chocolate and Bois are to Q1 and Q2). Any thoughts on what we could expect in the way of a big beer might be in the third quarter?

Oh. It's probably Melange 3 (third quarter, made up of the base beers of the other three quarters...). Never mind.

I guess I need to find a trustee so I can get my Q3 & Q4 shipments since I'll be out of the country from August till March of next year...

looks like I lost my avatar after the updates. Guess I get to show what 500 hp to the wheels in a FWD car looks like now:sunglasses: I call her the new sweet hotness. no you can't drive it, yes it's mine

    Questions:

    1. How do I give my trustee's info to the Bruery to assign them for future pickups? Is it simply an email, or is there something further I should do?

    2. Also wondering, as a PA resident - if I wanted to order a couple bottles available for sale online through their store, can I pay for them online and have my trustee pick them up along with my allocation?

    Thanks for any help!

There is a field in your account info on the website to designate a trustee.
