Show off your cool glassware

Sorry for the delay! Here's the baskets she got at the thrift store for $2 or $3 a piece. The one on the right is the one the loop came off of, but I really like the one on the left.

 

Those are nice, and for the price, they're f'ing awesome. Did you, perhaps, procure extras...? The left one looks exceptionally awesome.

 

I want a basket as well but I found it funny when they had them at Cantillon behind their serving bar and just poured straight from the bottles in to my cup.

 

Unfortunately, that's the only 2 they had. I will keep looking, as I'm hooked on these damn thrift store finds now! I got 2 of these glasses on Monday for $1 a piece.

I have one more basket that I got from BA crosamich for $20 + shipping. I guess he makes them or knows someone that does. I remember finding some pictures of his baskets on BA at some point.

 

F*** I want that glass, too. I hate you and love you at the same time.

do we know if these are actually legit GI tasters? where they ever for sale by GI, the silver goose doesnt seems to match perfectly to the one on the silver goose wine glass, the glass itself doesnt seem to be as top notch as other class (base has varying thickness, not a flat bottom in the glass - if that makes sense) could be the way this type of glass is, but it had me curious

 

Yes, they are really made for Goose Island. Never used or sold at either brewpub, but were brought by GI reps to several Chicago-area tap takeovers in 2012.

Besides, the REAL money is in Fantôme bootlegs...

I emailed back saying the head was worn off on both and would provide pictures when I got home... 10 minutes later a shipping confirmation email was received... awesome.

nice. we are both local...we need to commiserate our exhaustion over some brews. i only have a little more than a month before i am on call for baby #2 and will need to be in driving shape 24 hours a day until baby comes. but until then, if you can escape...hit me up and let's bottle share. i host all of the time and can come to you if it is after 8p or right after work. if i host, you don't need to bring any glasses though
