Yeah, McNeilly also wanted $28 for Frangelic Mtn Brown when it came out. Beyond not buying limited releases from places like McNeilly and Beer Nutz, I'm just going to boycott them altogether. They might make a little money up front on these beers, but they're going to put themselves out of business soon enough if they keep this shit up. Ever been in McNeilly? It's like a ghost town in there. Wonder why...

I usually get a case of something at the beer nutz distributor in verona once a year, only place i can find it. But the way they handle releases like this makes me not want to support them at all. Also never bought anything in mcneillys, dont plan on it any time soon.

Was at McNeily yesterday and they still have 4 of their $34 bolt cutters. Their ok for fat heads or regular founders beer but anything else is marked up 20-50%. $35 black ops anyone?

struck out at all market districts this week since I have a job that I have to work at and can't hang out at Giant Eagle at noon (yes, totally bitter)

Went to the BBT - http://birminghambridgetavern.com/ after seeing their facebook update about KBS. My lovely wife and I got 1 each for an after dinner treat for $10 a pop. I feel that it is expensive but not overly expensive for a bar. A bit underwhelmed this year. Felt the coffee and chocolate were way stronger than the whiskey in previous years. A good beer but that is all I needed. Not going on the hunt. Especially after the beer guy there told me they got 20 cases in the Pittsburgh area.

Just a heads up to anyone who has missed out on some. Save Mor Beer and Pop got 2 cases. They're selling them first come first serve tonight at 6. I'm assuming there will be a line. Hopefully some generous BA's go who will be willing to share a four pack with people who missed out.

And I'm not insinuating I want any lol. Just in general. I'm sure you'd reap some quality beer karma.

    Cheers.

Wouldn't that be sold by the case there? If anyone is interested I would be willing to chip in for a 4-pack.

I'd also be interested in a 4pk if someone grabbed a case or had any extras. Could pay cash or trade some beer

Beer karma is the best Karma. Heh. Where is that joint at? I almost never bother with distributors anymore now that I can get six packs everywhere. That's the Homestead one right?

I would throw down on a case too. I don't get out of work until 5:30-ish and I work in Southpointe so I can't pick it up, but I'm definitely in if people want to go in. I can meet up tonight to exchange if this goes through.

Too bad this case countdown wasn't later in the evening, as this place is like a 15 minute drive from my house.

I don't think I've struck out as much at anything in life (except maybe hitting on girls in college) as I have this beer. Three years in the hobby now and the closest I've come was I saw a four pack once (that was being held for someone).

I am assuming if people are lining up for it, if the line is more than 2 people, then we are sol. I am about 45 minutes away without rush hour traffic. I would have a hard time making it there early. Anyone have anymore information on this place and how they might handle it?

Well I guess maybe they have to hang out for 2 + hours. Hopefully not the 2 previously mentioned guys from GE Robinson. Hopefully I can still find a bottle to try to see if it is worth going all in next year.

Its good stuff, but I've given up on the "hunt" for it. I didn't even try for any this year. Its not worth it to me to drive all over town to maybe secure 1-3 bottles.

Even not having had the stuff yet I agree with this. I've got things like a job that I have to be at, I'll just take the $24 I didn't spend on a four pack of this and use it to (mostly) buy my summer case of Oberon or whatever.
