Is there any KBS remaining in Grand Rapids?

Supposively Founders is selling 4 packs right now in the tap/merch room.

 

Is this true, because I'll get in the car right now....

 

I'd call and double check. A few people I drink with said they were selling 2 4 packs per person. I personally have not been.

 

Five cases left as of 7:30

 

I called five minutes ago and they said they just sold out

It was for real. Have a buddy that was at Founders and they started selling it late this afternoon. Heard it was around 24 cases, 2x 4pack limit.

 

I headed down to Founders after work for Wednesday Mug Club night and saw all of these folks trotting out with four-packs of KBS in hand. Talk about being in the right place at the right time!

 

KBS is popping up all over GR right now, I was told at founders that it is due to people not picking up their pre-orders or not buying full allotments. I got another 4 pack at Smittys today, wouldn't be surprised if all of the larger bottle shops in town get more this week or today.

 

Yes, definitely keep your eye out the next couple of days. Like TheBeerDad said, Smitty's in Easttown got a few more cases of it today. Granted, it was gone in two hours, but I figured it was the allotments people didn't pick up at the initial release.

I almost went down and got some, but I decided to stay content with the 4 pack I still have left. Out of curiosity, how much did it go for? If they posted the price I would've had less of an internal struggle.

 

24.99, not the best price point, but I won't complain.

 

$6 more than Founders themselves. I could live with that. Certainly could've been worse.

 

Speaking of, Crushed Grape on Knapp near Beltline (across Knapp from Meijer, next to the movie theater and that whole plaza) just posted that they got some more cases. 1 bottle limit though.

 

Riverside Liquors just posted they have 2 cases, first come first served.

 

Not in GR, but a shop I was waitlisted for but missed out on initially called me yesterday saying I could come pick some up. Grabbed it today, and I guess they got an extra case from their distributor Weds. Wondering if this is why.

 

I could go for two cases
